If the equipment you need is not listed, ask. The question is whether it has a clear business use and a sensible working life, not whether it fits a category. Financing a complete kitchen

Ovens, refrigeration, extraction, prep equipment and installation can sit in one agreement when the invoices are clear.

Build the supplier schedule

Set out each appliance, the installation costs and the date the site needs to be ready.

Choose ownership or flexibility

Long-life cooking equipment may suit HP; technology and replaceable kit may sit better on a lease.

Coordinate delivery and payout

Documents, delivery evidence and supplier invoices are checked before payout, without splitting the kitchen into separate deals.

Before you order: equipment checklist

Are all the costs separated?

Ask your supplier to list the cooking equipment, refrigeration and warewashing separately from installation, extraction, building work and servicing. Tell us which parts you want to fund.

What must be ready before delivery?

Confirm access, dimensions, power, water and ventilation with your supplier. Agree who is responsible for installation and testing before setting an opening date.

One delivery or a phased fit-out?

Tell us if equipment comes from several suppliers or if deposits and stage payments are needed. Discuss the payment schedule before committing to supplier terms.

Catering and restaurant equipment finance calculator

Ovens, refrigeration, extraction, dishwashers and prep equipment can often be placed on one facility. A clear supplier schedule matters more than splitting every appliance into a separate request.

For an established restaurant, lenders will focus on trading and the useful life of the equipment. For a new opening, they will also look at operator experience, deposit and the gap between installation and first service.

If the kitchen schedule is ready, call us on 01279 744159 and we will check which costs can sit in the agreement.

Offer finance to your customers

A commercial oven or a full line replacement is a five figure decision. The moment a customer hesitates, embedded finance turns that hesitation into a signed order, without you chasing paperwork or explaining rates you didn't set.

Quotes and applications

Your customer sets their own term and deposit on a £20k combi oven and extraction system, then pushes the quote to proposal themselves. No back and forth over price.

Decisions and documents

Auto acceptance and e-sign mean a restaurant or pub owner can be approved before the kitchen's even closed for the night. No calls, no chasing signatures.

Application updates

See when an agreement is ending and what a customer could borrow next, useful when it's time to upgrade them to a bigger oven or a second fridge.

Catering and restaurant equipment finance FAQs

Straight answers on used equipment, fit outs, trading history and what can be included.

Still have questions?
Can I finance used or refurbished kitchen equipment?

Often, yes. Lenders look at the age of the equipment, its condition, who is supplying it and how long it is likely to keep working. A refurbished oven or fridge from an established supplier is usually straightforward.

Can I fund a full kitchen fit out rather than one appliance?

Yes. Ovens, fridges, dishwashers, extraction and prep surfaces can be funded together as one agreement rather than several, which keeps the paperwork and the payments simple.

Do I need to have been trading for a certain time?

Established businesses have the widest choice of lenders. New sites can still be funded, though a deposit or a director guarantee is more likely to be asked for, and the business plan carries more weight when there is no trading history.

Can I add equipment to an agreement later?

Usually we would arrange a second agreement alongside the first rather than amending it. If you are adding a lot, it is sometimes cleaner to restructure both into one.

What happens if I move premises?

The agreement follows the business rather than the address, so moving is not a problem. Let us know so the paperwork stays accurate.

Can installation be included?

Often, yes, where it appears on the supplier invoice. Installation, plumbing and gas connection are frequently funded alongside the equipment rather than paid separately.

Is extraction and ventilation worth financing?

It is worth including. A compliant extraction and ventilation system is often required before you can open, and it is one of the most common things left out of a budget, then paid for in cash later.

Can I lease restaurant equipment?

Potentially. Restaurant equipment such as ovens, refrigeration, dishwashers, extraction and preparation equipment may be considered on an equipment lease. The available term and end-of-term options depend on the assets, supplier, business and lender.
